We want you to help us refine the new Delegation of Controlled Acts draft policy before it’s finalized.

The draft policy sets out expectations for physicians about when and how they may delegate controlled acts, through either direct orders or medical directives. The draft policy expectations are largely consistent with those of the current policy while updates have been made to enhance clarity and expand on key concepts.

A draft Advice to the Profession: Delegation of Controlled Acts document has also been developed to clarify and further explain the draft policy content.
