Tell us what you think:
We want you to help us refine the newly retitled draft Virtual Care policy before it’s finalized.
The draft policy retains the core expectations of the current Telemedicine policy (e.g., that physicians must continue to meet the standard of care) while new expectations have been added to clarify when and how to provide virtual care appropriately.
The draft Advice to the Profession: Virtual Care document has been updated to clarify and further explain the draft policy content.

Have your say:
We want to hear your thoughts on the new draft policy and the draft Advice to the Profession document. For example, we’re interested to know:
- Does the draft policy provide useful guidance to physicians?
- Are the expectations set out in the draft policy clear and reasonable?
- Are there issues not addressed in the draft policy and/or Advice document that should be?
Or please answer the specific questions we have in our online survey regarding the draft policy content (click here to download the PDF list of questions).
Please provide your feedback by November 22, 2021.
Your feedback is important to us. Your comments will be carefully reviewed and used to help us evaluate the draft Virtual Care policy. CPSO Council will ultimately determine what policy revisions will be made when finalizing and approving the policy.
Thank you for participating!
