We want you to help us refine the new Third Party Medical Reports draft policy before it’s finalized.

The draft policy is the result of combining CPSO’s Third Party Reports and Medical Expert: Reports and Testimony policies as it sets out expectations for all physicians (including medical experts) who participate in third party processes by:

• Conducting independent medical examinations (IMEs);
• Providing third party medical reports; and/or
• Providing testimony.

A new Advice to the Profession: Third Party Medical Reports document has also been drafted to clarify and further explain the draft policy content.
